$50 M Settlement in Nationwide Class Action Discrimination Suit against Abercrombie & Fitch

$9.5 M Class-Action Settlement for Retirement Benefits – October, 2014

Gold, recently obtained a $9.5 million settlement in a ten-year old class action lawsuit.  One-hundred former employees of Owens-Illinois brought the claim against their former employer.  The former workers were long-term employees with the company when the company sold, preventing them from collecting their entitled retirement benefits.

Gold & Associates, P.C., was co-counsel for the group of employees, along with the Console Law Offices LLC.  The settlement approved by a U.S. district court judge allows each former employee to receive the original retirement benefit they were eligible for, in addition to a lump sum settlement amount.

The substantial settlement is a significant accomplishment for Mr. Gold who tenaciously pursued the claim for the workers over a decade long period.

$662,000 Settlement for Qui Tam Case – December, 2014
