PENNSYLVANIA EMPLOYMENT LAWYER
Aarthi Manohar is an Associate whose practice focuses on representing employees and employers in all aspects of employment related ligation, including claims brought under federal and state anti-discrimination statutes.
She received a B.A. in English, Magna Cum Laude, from Bryn Mawr College and a J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law. During law school, Aarthi was an Associate Editor of the Moorad Sports Law Journal and a recipient of the Dorothy Day Prize for pro bono service. She went on to receive an M.S. in Journalism from the Columbia University School of Journalism in New York.
Aarthi was recognized by Billy Penn for her legal work in 2016 and was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2017. (No more than 2.5% of attorneys in the State are named Rising Stars.) She is a member of the Philadelphia Chapter Board of the ACLU of Pennsylvania, where she co-chairs their Young Leadership Outreach Team, and is also a volunteer with the Philadelphia Court System’s MENTOR program.
Prior to joining Sidney Gold & Associates, Aarthi worked at a firm representing clients in Social Security and Long Term Disability cases.
