Older, more experienced individuals who are seeking employment may find themselves discouraged by numerous postings stating that employers are looking for recent graduates or employees who have worked under a number of years in the field. While some of these postings may be relevant to the position itself, many more are simply thinly-veiled attempts to discourage older individuals from applying, as many employers see older employees as a liability.
