Biography
Mr. Farrell is a trial lawyer. In 2024, he obtained a $625,000.01 jury verdict in Burgo v. Boulevard Autogroup LLC, which VerdictSearch verified as a Top 3 discrimination verdict in Pennsylvania for the year. He has taken several other cases to verdict in federal and state courts across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Mr. Farrell has also achieved significant results on appeal. In LaFiandra v. Accenture LLP, No. 23-3050 (3d Cir. 2024), the Third Circuit reversed the district court’s grant of summary judgment and revived his client’s disability retaliation and age discrimination claims. He has secured dozens of summary judgment denials across a wide range of discrimination and retaliation cases.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Farrell spearheaded the first-ever constitutional challenge to the Americans with Disabilities Act on behalf of a transgender client in Blatt v. Cabela’s Retail. In Blatt, a federal court ruled for the first time that transgender people are not categorically barred from seeking relief under the ADA. That decision marked the beginning of a new path toward securing legal protections for transgender people through disability rights law.
Mr. Farrell’s work has earned him Pennsylvania Rising Star designations in Employment Litigation from 2018 to 2023. He obtained his B.A. from Wake Forest University in 2010 and his J.D., cum laude, from the Villanova University School of Law in 2014. While in law school, he was a member of the National Trial Team and received the ABA-Bloomberg BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law. He has dedicated his career to representing employees in claims under federal and state anti-discrimination, civil rights, and whistleblower protection laws before various federal and state courts.

Client Reviews
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I worked with Brian Farrell, Esq. from The Gold Law Firm on an employment matter. He was outstanding. I would use him again in a heartbeat. He took the time to understand the fact pattern and devised a careful strategy to achieve our objective. Brian was not only thorough but incisive in understanding and exploiting the opposing strategy. He was a square shooter as well. I never felt like he exaggerated or embellished during our discussions. If you need help, give him a call.
