Sidney L. Gold, principal shareholder and employment lawyer at The Gold Law Firm P.C. served as the featured speaker at The Employment Law Institute on April 27, which was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
Additionally, Mr. Gold moderated a panel discussion with five distinguished Federal Judges on the topics of Evidentiary Issues and Discovery in Employment Law Cases. The discussion focused on what is discoverable and what is not in employment discrimination cases. The judges gave their input on the subjects as well.
Mr. Gold also presented a lecture on The Ten Worst Mistakes Made by Attorneys at a Mediation of an Employment Case. Attorney Neelima Vanguri participated as a featured speaker for two panels. Her first panel presentation was titled, A Landmark Victory for Transgender Employees Under the ADA, which covered the landmark transgender case that Ms. Vanguri secured for a client. The second panel presentation was titled, PBI’s Got Talent: An Interactive Study of a Sexual Harassment Case.
