Alleged Race Discrimination at Dental Care Alliance LLC

An employment discrimination lawsuit was filed on April 21, 2016 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania by Sidney L. Gold & Associates on behalf of Erica Caldwell, dental assistant. Caldwell claims her employer, Dental Care Alliance LLC, violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act by subjecting her to racial discrimination and harassment at work. According to the claim, Caldwell, an African-American female, was wrongfully disciplined, prohibited from working overtime, and subjected to racial remarks. The lawsuit seeks wage and benefit compensation, front pay, punitive and compensatory damages, costs, attorney and expert fees, and a trial by jury.
