Recent allegations have surfaced that U.S. Rep. Patrick Meehan used taxpayer money to settle a sexual harassment complaint last year from a former aide. An article in The New York Times reports that the aide filed a complaint with the congressional Office of Compliance due to a hostile work environment.
Recently, Mehan asked congressional attorneys handling the case to waive the confidentiality agreement so that he is free to discuss details surrounding the claim. Attorney Sidney L.
